IDC researchers Teena tom Dieck and Timo Jakumeit received two presentation awards at the 13th ACM International Conference on Nanoscale Computing and Communication (ACM NanoCom 2026) in St. John’s, Canada.
Teena tom Dieck received the Best Poster Presentation Award for her presentation of “Closed-Loop Control of Substrate-Inhibited Reactions in Miniaturized Bioreactors,” selected from 13 poster and demo presentations at the conference. Timo Jakumeit received the Best Presentation Award for presenting “Matched Filter-Based Molecule Source Localization in Advection-Diffusion-Driven Pipe Networks with Known Topology,” among 16 technical paper presentations across the four technical sessions.
The awards recognize not only the technical quality of the presented research, but also the clear communication of the scientific content and the overall presentation style.
Congratulations to Teena and Timo!
