On April 15–17, 2026, researchers from the Institute for Digital Communications (IDC) attended the 10th Workshop on Molecular Communications, held in Istanbul, Turkey. The workshop brought together an interdisciplinary community working on molecular communication systems across theory, experiments, and applications.
The IDC delegation included Dr. Maximilian Schäfer, Dr. Sebastian Lotter, Dr. Fardad Vakilipoor Takaloo, Theofilos Symeonidis, and Johannes Konrad. In addition, several colleagues from the Research Training Group (RTG) SyMoCADS participated in the workshop.

In addition to these contributions, Dr. Sebastian Lotter served as a Technical Program Committee Co-Chair and chaired a technical session, while Dr. Maximilian Schäfer served on the steering committee and chaired a technical session.
Overall, the workshop offered valuable opportunities for scientific exchange, networking, and gaining new perspectives on ongoing research in molecular communications.
