FERDAOUS TARHOUNI received the National Engineering Diploma degree from the Ecole Polytechnique de Tunisie (EPT), and the M.Sc. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), Thuwal, Saudi Arabia. She is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree with the Institute for Digital Communications (IDC), Friedrich-Alexander-Universitat Erlangen-Nurnberg, Germany. Her current research interests include non-terrestrial networks, free space optical communication, and reconfigurable intelligent surfaces.
