Muhammad Zubair received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering from COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus, Pakistan, and the M.S. degree in electrical engineering from Information Technology University (ITU), Lahore, Pakistan, in 2018. From 2017 to 2019, he served as a Research Assistant with the Radar Signal Processing and Design (RSPD) Laboratory at ITU. From 2020 to 2024, he worked as a Digital Signal Processing Engineer at u-blox. In June 2025, he joined the Institute for Digital Communications (IDC) at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU), Erlangen, Germany, as a Ph.D. student. His research interests include mathematical modelling, digital signal processing, and their applications to wireless communications and sensing. His current research focuses on wireless information and power transfer at terahertz (THz) frequencies, with particular emphasis on resonant tunnelling diode (RTD)-based systems and pinching-antenna-enabled wireless communication systems.
