Johanna Fröhlich earned her B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering in 2022 and her M.Sc. in Advanced Signal Processing and Communications Engineering in 2024 both from Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg in Germany. She also spent time at Norwegian University of Science and Technology in Trondheim, Norway during her studies.

Since October 2024, she is pursuing her PhD in Erlangen, Germany. Prior to that she had been working as a student and teaching assistant for fundamentals of electrical engineering and mathematics. Her research interests include computational efficiency for artificial intelligence, with a particular focus on pruning and inference, as well as explainable artificial intelligence methods.
