“Science is a team sport.”

(Unknown)

… and so is engineering!

The IDC is engaged in a multitude of collaborative endeavors with researchers specializing in communication from institutions across the globe. We have established connections with numerous universities worldwide, facilitate visits from researchers from diverse geographical locations, and encourage our own researchers to travel internationally to engage in professional interactions, present their findings to other research groups, and participate in long-term collaborative projects.

The IDC’s publicly funded research projects include numerous collaborations with partners at other German universities or Fraunhofer Institutes. In the field of molecular communications, we have established robust links not only with electrical engineering, but also with researchers in (completely) disparate fields such as computer science, medicine, biology, or chemical and bioengineering.

Additionally, numerous projects have been successfully completed in collaboration with industrial partners, ranging from small local enterprises to large international corporations.
