Researchers from IDC successfully showcased their latest work at the 27th International Workshop on Signal Processing and Artificial Intelligence in Wireless Communications, held in Athens, Greece, from September 6-9.
IDC was represented by Prof. Wolfgang Gerstacker and Bastian Heinlein, who presented two papers at the workshop:
- Bastian Heinlein presented his work “Autoencoder-based Optimization of Multi-user Molecule Mixture Communication Systems.”
- Prof. Wolfgang Gerstacker presented the paper “Environment aware Geometry Based Stochastic Channel Modeling for THz Band UAV Communications” that was first-authored by CME student Abdullah AlMuallim.
The technical program featured keynotes, invited talks, and several poster sessions. The scientific program was complemented by several opportunities for informal exchange, including a welcome reception, a banquet dinner, and an optional walking tour through Athens.
